Role Reversal...

Apparently I am the one who goes certain places and does certain things...

Today the heater was having an issue so I need to pop over to Home Depot to get filters. We have a new Home Depot very close (yahoo for that). We dropped carpool off for kindergarten and I told the girls that we were going to go to Home Depot.

Apparently they are very familar with this place. They started to tell me I could not go there only Daddy goes there. They also told me I could not drive there because only Daddy's green truck goes there not the red car I drive. Could they ride in the orange carts? Could they drive? Could they see all the stuffs? I found this all very interesting. So we get inside. Apparently the new Home Depot has special carts. They have two driver spots, what fun? The girls were in heaven and not at all thrilled when we were done in like two minutes. They wanted more time in the store. If only Home Depot sold food, clothing etc... it would solve all my shopping issues. Although maybe they love it so much because they don't go their often?

Isn't it funny that little ones start to distinguish where mommy belongs and where daddy belongs, and where they don't belong. The way of a little ones mind. Love it! Cute post ; )

Funny! A few years ago when we lived in the city, I almost never drove because driving and parking in the city are a nightmare. When we moved to the suburbs, Jack was terrified to ride in the car with me and told me that only Dad drove cars. Kids are too funny!

I love how they have little rules for you that they want you to follow:) Now if they only made those carts in 3 seaters I'd be in business!

That is great! Interesting, the pleasure they can get out of such simple things. I love that only the green truck goes to Home Depot.

Little kids thinking cracks me up! Once when Cody was about 2 we told him he couldn't have something cause we didn't have the money for it and he said "you've got checks!"
