Hannah Montana..

I give this movie a big thumbs up. It was cute and fun and a great way to spend time with my daughter. I thought the movie itself was very entertaining and not just because the music. I loved that before each song they had a personal interest portion- where we got to watch Hannah Montana talk, share more about the song or how they prepared for the concert. I am sure $15 a ticket is steep but in the realm of things out there what isn't? Spending the day at the concert, watching Lindsey happy and happy to be with me was priceless. We went shopping for an outfit after and had lunch. Moments I won't get back. They grow up too fast. At the beginning of the movie watching her excitement and feeling a connection with her I found myself really emotional (thank goodness for 3 D glasses).

I gave her the choice of popcorn and a drink or lunch afterwards but she choose lunch afterwards instead :)

Sounds like you both had a great time. It makes me wish I could spend that kind of time with each of my kids every week. Oh and thanks for the ebert/roper review!

Sounds like a great time! She'll remember that for a very long time. I still remember times my mom spent just with me and loved them! ;)

I also give the movie a big thumbs up. I am glad that you had such a good time. Lindsey came over after you guys got back and was really excited about it. She was telling Emily all of the exciting things to watch for when we went. So it sounds like she enjoyed it as much as you did.

You girls look lovely! So much fun and and such a memory building time for the two of you. It is so true that they grow up too fast and things seem to get harder as they grow. These moments are priceless!

Laura,
What a wonderful picture and day spent with your daughter. It goes way too fast. Cherish these moments. Last weekend I drove my oldest to take the SAT and then spent the afternoon with Matthew at a birthday party at Putt-Putt golf and games. How lucky we are to have the blessings in our life. Your blog is so full of great reminders of what is truly important. JoAnn
