When is happened there was no way to know who to blame. Well we could narrow it down to one of two people and I had my suspicions.
This one, however, was kind of obvious. The big "H" on the middle cabinet has Hailey written all over it.
Thank goodness for Mr. Clean magic eraser or my twins would be in even more trouble. Anyone else care to comment on when my near four year old twins will stop being so mischievous?

My almost four Evan just recently colored on the wall, and peed in the middle of his bedroom floor. So gross..I know, and totally out of character. Thank God for washable crayons and markers, and carpet cleaner.
OH no! and you have double trouble. i have some graffiti artists in my house too! it makes me crazy. my 4 year old is totally making me nuts lately. and Pierce is too. CRAZY KIDS! i can't keep up!
love when you can tell who it was by what they wrote. letter, name. always identifying themselves. hee hee.
Oh noooooo! Glad it came off ok. I am cracking up that the culprit left her calling card. Hysterical!
Uugghhh, that's a big bummer. I heart the magic eraser, it works wonders on crayon!
Ha ha ha. Classic. She left her signature! :)
Maybe she was framed by Sydney. lol!
I think twins are more mischievous than singletons by far. Mine are only 18 months old and they are already trouble makers. Or as Luke likes to call them, "naughty naughty little girls!"
I hate to break it to you, but my "artist", is still unstoppable at nearly nine. I recently found MY name painted on her box spring in nail polish. MY NAME!!! So they get more sophisticated as they get older. I think they may ALWAYS be mischevious. Have fun!! Once I asked her to stop drawing, she used to draw constantly, and she told me she couldn't help it. She just HAD to draw. So there we go.
I was just about to add a comment like Connie's. My "artist" is going on 8 and is still going strong. She even had cheetos covered hand prints - yes PLURAL!- on the wall the other day and blamed it on the other 4. Like I could not tell it was her handprint. All I had to do was ask the kids to put their hand up to it!
She is STILL writing on her furniture. That is why we have cheap Kmart bunkbeds and a hand me down dresser for her. NEVER will I buy her new furniture.
You will have to show Hailey this picture later when she is a Mommy. She will appreciate how much of a handful she was!
Oh, yes, we've been there before. Only it was with permanent marker and those Mr. CLean erasers were not around yet.
My little 4 year old has been busy making art too. I keep finding little yellow coloring on my light switches, piano keys, table, wall...they just keep showing up and Carli likes to blame bryce...although he cannot use a crayon yet so her cover is blown:)
Oh BANANAS! I am in trouble!!!
Hailey, do not leave your calling card if you do not want to get into trouble. :o)
I want to tell you they grow out of it, but my kids were found two days ago spray painting my basement floors blue...thank goodness it isn't finished...
Uh-oh!
Want to feel better?
We had just finished loading the truck to move here, when Lauren's little neighbor friend came over to bring her a going away gift. (A coloring book with crayons to keep her busy on the drive) Mike was locking up the house, I was talking to the neighbor-mom when we heard the dreaded noise. CRAYON ON THE WALL! Lauren and her friend had run in circles in two of the now empty rooms drawing on the walls!!! We spent the next hour and a half Mr Cleaning it! (Making a much later departure than we wanted.)
It was the first and LAST time Lauren has ever drawn on my walls for fear of my wrath again.
Don't worry, the four year old stage only lasts a year...then they'll be at the five year old stage (which isn't always that much better) But they are cute and artistic. I am impressed she knows her letters.
My niece also wrote all over her dresser at about the same age. She decided she wanted to label her drawers with which clothes go where!
p.s. Where have you been? I've missed your comments...
♥ My twins got SOOO much better a couple of months after their 4th birthday and sometimes get do stuff still but not as often which is really nice. Emma has written on the walls at 7 which makes NO sence... That was like 1 time though... So it does get a little better with the twins! :)
When they marry and leave your household? :)
Really, good luck with that!! :)
Your right thank God for Mr. Clean magic erasers. Hope everything else is all right. I have not seen you around much.
Found you thru Angie at sevenclown--so good to 'meet' you and am enjoying perusing your blog!
We also have twins, but fraternal b/g--our line of septation was obvious at the ultrasound that found them to be twins (at 21 weeks--I was shocked, after six singletons)--but the more I read up on twins and learned about all the variations and possible issues, the greater appreciation I have had for moms who have been through MO.
Your kiddos are darling, even when they are coloring on the furniture--are you sure you don't need to take fingerprints--I mean, could somebody have been setting Miss H up! ;o)
Blessings!
I love her 'calling card' stamp. So funny...I know not to you. I know for a fact that my girls will follow in your girls footsteps...they already have so far :) I am not looking forward to the drawing on stuff. We have kept ALL our writing utencils UP and OUT of reach so far.
Oh- no!!! Thats trouble! Yup time to keep things up and out of reach~!
My son Austin wrote his name on the wall when he was about 5. He tried to deny it but when logic prevailed (his two sisters didn't know how to write his name!) he finally caved and admitted his guilt. Oh, they sure push us to our limits, don't they? Good thing we have Mr. Clean Magic eraser!
