I believe in miracles...

Dear Sydney and Hailey,
I believe in miracles because I begged God to allow you to live and come to our family safely and you did. It didn't seem possible or even likely.

As I watched you be born and heard your first weak cries. I knew I was experiencing a miracle, we all knew it. I watched the nurses and doctors attend to you carefully. I worried as a ventilator was needed to help you breath.
All I wanted was you to be born alive- to have you safe, yet my arms ached as stayed at the hospital small and weak for 29 days.

We celebrated as you came home pink and healthy to our home.
You have given me a gift. I will never be the same. I will never take any life for granted. Life is fragile. I love you so very much!
Happy Birthday my sweet little girls!

Happy Birthday to your incredibly adorable, special, lovely girls......I love how you made some of the pictures black and white. What did you do for their birthday?

This is great! I can't even imagine how hard that was to go through. I can't believe they are 4! Our babies are not babies anymore! I love the sunflower dresses - your family is so beautiful! It was good to see you - we need to have a girl’s night together.

P.S. I love what you do with your blog – I need some lessons!

Happy birthday, Sydney! Happy birthday, Hailey! And congratulations to you and your family, Laura, for reaching yet another milestone with your amazing girls. You're so right about no longer taking any life for granted - I know that's the biggest lesson I've learned in the last year-and-a-half.

Happy birthday Sydney and Hailey!!! I am so lucky to be your aunt and share in your lives. Seeing your mom's post about your beginning, reminds me what a wonderful miracle we all experienced. I sometimes forget that because I see you healthy and happy now, which, of course, is the best part of the miracle.

I can't believe how time flies! Cameron will be 4 tomorrow and he's still as mischievous as the twins. I've decided he won't be going to kindergarten next year. I'd rather wait and give him the advantage he needs. I think you said the same thing about sending the twins when they're 6 instead of 5. I love how you composed this post. It reminds me of a scrpabook page. Blogging is a nice substitute when scrapbooking is not caught up or impossible to find time to do. I still try to do it at least once a month. I'm trying to finish Conner's baby album. I like that my blog doesn't take up any space and doesn't require taking out any supplies. Plus it doesn't cost any money! I miss you and wish we lived closer! Love ya!
