Oh wait I can't take a bath,my bath tub is literally filled with dissolved soggy toilet paper!
Who knew toilet paper could cause such a nightmare? The girls were bathing I was in the room talking on the phone. Watching for someone to go underwater too long, or stand up and fall, those normal kinds of bath time risks. What I did not see was one of the twins slip a brand new full roll of toilet paper in the bath. That is, until I go to wash their hair and it is covered in white chunks. At first I thought it was conditioner (chunky) because its not within my experience to imagine toilet paper ever looking like that. I touched it was tangled and impossible to get a hold of, and it was toilet paper. Dissolved toilet paper. I thought I was mad but I still had no idea how terrible it was. I tried rinsing it out with the shower sprayer. I tried washing it out (like 10 ten times). I tried conditioner. None removed it. Their hair and scalp were coated. After several attempts and brushes I removed them from the bath and began using a fine tooth comb. Still toilet paper was found every time through. Looking more and more like lice. An hour later they are in bed... in BIG trouble. I go to check out the bath. 5 barbies with hair also coated in the toilet paper (which can give you a small idea of what I was dealing with). I was too involved to take pictures of the girls hair. The tub is white clouds of the stuff. The drain is whole other project I have been cleaning out. What a disaster.
Don't look to closely at the girls and if you do rest assured their hair is VERY clean and they absolutely don't have lice.
Oh my what will they think of next?

OH MY GOSH Those nauhty, naughty girls.
oh wow. those girls are so mischievous!
Oh, how closely our lives parallel each other. Jeff awarded me the mom of the year award yesterday b/c I left the twins in the shower and came downstairs. It was one of those days......and besides, I was listening to falling sounds, etc. When I came back up a few minutes later (all the while I heard the laughing and having fun) they had stopped up the shower and it was an eigth of an inch from over flowing and were both in my sink, with it stopped up splashing water everywhere. It was all under my sink, in my drawers, covering the floor, etc. I almost cried. All b/c I left them alone. And for the record, when I say parallel, I mean a bathroom mishap, not that you left your kids like I did. :)
Wow, you and Angie must truly be saints...and have lots of patience. I think I would have probably lost my mind.
Just remember someday they will have children to....and as they say, payback is a...;)
Hang in there!
I'm speechless...the things I have to look froward to!!
Wow!! Sounds NASTY! :o)
OMGosh! I think that Barbie needs a haircut. Perhaps a crew cut...lol!
I'm hoping that once the loo paper dries it will flake out - fingers crossed.
I'm scared now as well of what is in store for me - one child just doesn't come up with these things by themselves!
whoa! I had no idea tp could be that painful to clean up!Just looking at the Barbie's hair makes me wonder how you even start to get it out! Maybe they can get away with wearing a hat for a day. So sorry!
Oh no you poor thing. Kids you just gotta love em.
Oh my goodness. I am so sorry for you! I can't imagine what you must have been feeling (maybe it's better not to, ha ha). I hope that your tub is ok and you finally got rid of all the TP! You could write a book based on their adventures (you should at least profit from your experiences, right?)
♥ Oh man!!! I didn't know toilet paper could be such trouble!!! WHAT A PAIN!!! I'm so sorry!!! I hate bath time. It's my worst chores EVER!!! So instead of baths my kids get showers. Quick to the point. I would have been beyond angry and probably wouldn't have dealt with it very good! Again I'm so sorry!!!!
Wow. Seriously tp? That's crazy! I think I would just throw Barbie in the trash, cuz I'm lazy like that! Ugh! Thanks for the warning, now I know to guard the tp at bath time!
unfortunately I know EXACTLY what you are talking about - it is one nasty mess that you will find pieces of for at least a month. why is TP so darn fun???
I'm sorry. What a mess. I know all about toilet paper in the bathtub drain, but never in the hair. That sounds awful.
Hmmm...thanks for the lesson learned. I will be keeping the toilet paper FAR away from the bathtub:)
oh my oh my oh my!!!! Toss those barbies!!
Oh yuck! If you are anything like me, even Calgon wouldn't have helped after that!
OMG!!! From this point on toilet paper will e kept out of reach. I'm sorry. I had a bath tub full of silk flowers last week but not even comparable to your toilet paper problem. I was just sad about throwing away 40$ worth of silk flowers. I think you should shave the barbie's hair and tell the girls that will happen to them if they ever do anything like that again :)
Have you told them that Santa and his elves are keeping a close eye?!? Those little stinkers!
Who knew??? What a disaster is right. Note to self....don't ever let toilet paper get in to the tub!
AWFUL! JUST AWFUL. HOW DID YOU HOLD IT TOGETHER?!?!
