Trouble maker at work...

I used to think Sydney and Hailey had very few differences but lately I am noticing a alarming difference. Sydney has been in all sorts of trouble and Hailey is not the one doing it.

Here are the "best of" her naughty episodes...
The other day Hailey slipped and fell in the bubble bath that Sydney dumped this was previously mentioned. The entire bottle of bubble bath took three days to clean off the floor. It just kept foaming and foaming. When a cap full can fill the entire tub with suds you can imagine what the whole bottle does with the floor!
Then is was the conditioner in the shower and all over her clothing.
Then it was Hailey slipping on the unusually slippery wood floors. Later we find Sydney has sprayed Pam all over the floors.
Then there was tide power carried in a trail and filled up in the toilet.
Lotion and more lotion on several different occasions.
Shampoo contained to the bathtub.

Sydney has an expression, a gleam in her eyes she makes when mischief is being had. These expressions are all her own.
The other day she asked me to please look at the baby on the t.v. "I do not want you to watch me, do not look at what I am doing".

She is so obvious in her naughty attempts and often requests me to not go where she going or to not watch what she does.

Yesterday Alan was holding her (she sucks her fingers) and she told him she could not suck her fingers they were yucky. He smelled cleaner on her hands and began questioning her. Her simple response was "I do want to to talk".

It's amazing when she find the moments to do this. She seems to know exactly when I am busy or not paying attention. I really do keep things out of her reach but each day I am finding a new thing that has to become a controlled substance. All real cleaning supplies are out in the garage up high and medicines are as well. She still finds shampoo, lotion, 409, and laundry soap. What should I remove next?

Isn't it amazing how quick they can get into something? In the blink of an eye and you have no idea it's even happening.

This motherhood stuff is hard work!

OH BOY! Won't you be sad the day she stops being so obvious? Lauren still has that "innocence" (if you can call it that) about her too...she'll say "Close your eyes, Mommy." That's always my red flag that she's done or about to do something she knows is naughty!

Oh boy. How can such a cute face get into so much trouble? I'm crossing my fingers that this does not happen to me. I'm not very hopeful though. At least you always provide me with ample warning. I'm just glad she's not ingesting any of these products!

Yikes...at least she gives you some warning!!! It is so hard to get everything hidden, and then they STILL find things to get into!!! That spunkiness will serve her well later in life....

Wow! I'm so surprised that they are not working together, you are lucky for that one. My twin sister Paige & I did all that rotten stuff & even had t-shirts that said 'double trouble'. We did grow out of it! How old are they because I wonder if my twins will hit this stage. Good luck!
Oh and to answer your questions
My two oldest are 8 years old(not twins just different marriages) they are 2 1/2 months apart.

I feel for you and understand as I about broke my neck getting into our bathtub the other night, only to find that Isaiah had dumped a bunch of clear body soap (so since I wasn't looking for it, didn't notice it as the water was filling up the tub and I had added bubbles anyway). So I step in and just about slip ...
It always freaks me out how quickly they can do these things! :)

I'm looking at my sweet trouble free babies who are lying on their playmat and thinking it's only a matter of time for me!!!

Trelise has taken to carrying a chair around with her for extra height when needed!

I should clarify Hailey is almost always there participating which gets her trouble too its just recently I have discovered who comes up with the trouble that and she has had a few solo missions lately as well.

She looks so sweet and innocent! It's amazing how much damage they can do in a few seconds. I bet she'll be a creative genious someday or some sort of carpet and wood floor warranty tester.

She looks much too sweet to be the cause of all that trouble

Oh no! Very creative, I must say. When Vivi is doing something wrong it's "Oh, I'm just standing here. I'm fine." Love the pics of her!

Oh Laura I know that I am not far behind you. My girls are so mischievious already and they are not even two. It's amazing how something so cute can cause so much damage and mayhem :)

The Pam and bubble bath on the floors is killing me....it is crazy to think about all the trouble they can get into!

Everybody always talks about baby proofing your home but I think toddler/preschooler proofing is far more important and next to impossible. They are so creative and they can always figure out something to do with whatever is on hand. Good Luck!!!

I find I am thinking of your girls alot lately. My two are so mischievious and into everything! They climb onto everything. The dining room chairs are put up on the table when not in use. All doors must me kept closed and all cabinets have locks on them and they still find ways to get into stuff. My other two were not like this. They are only 18 mths and I have a feeling from watching your girls that this is only the beginning.
