Pulling an all nighter...

The other night I pulled an all nighter. Not the kind in college when you were craming for a final or the kind where you stay up all night talking and scrapbooking either. This all nighter included 3 loads of laundry, two baths, and lots of throw up!

YUCK!

Hailey began throwing up at around 12am and threw up all night every 20 minutes till about 6am. I did not sleep a wink, nor did she.

She was absolutely fine once morning hit. Even ate all day. If you were wondering if it might have been food poisoning, like I was. Let me assure you Sydney proved that wrong last night with a repeat performance. At least she started throwing up earlier in the night so we all got some sleep. Daddy took care of her as I was at the hospital volunteering (yay for that too).

I wonder who will be hit next?

I hate nights like that. The last time I had a night like that we were lucky and the flu only ended up hitting the one child. Hopefully it will stop with just the twins for you. Good Luck!!

Oh that is the WORST! I will take a cold any day over vomit. Also why do kids only ever throw up at night? I hope the rest of your family doesn't get it. Good luck.

Poor you! That is total torture! I'm so glad she was okay the next day! Hope no one else gets it!
I've been sick here with the flu(influenza) and I have to say that I make a bad sick patient.

Nothing worse than being sick like that. AND it stinks to get NO sleep. You feel hung over and sick from exhaustion. Hoping you get caught up soon and have been able to enjoy the weekend.

I'm a couple days late in reading this, but I hope everyone in your house is well and that you enjoy a beautiful Easter Sunday together tomorrow.

That is not a pretty story!! So sorry that you had to do that...
I pull all-nighters now and then when Gigantor thinks it's time to be awake. But no throwing-up is involved. Guess I will think of your story the next time he wakes up and be thankful!!!

Ugh. How terrible. I hope that the plague has left the house and you have no more all nighters to come.

Tag, we're it! Ugh.... Nolan ( 1 year) started throwing up on Thursday. HIs diapers have not been pleasant since! Jaylin climbed into our bed Saturday night shivering. I thought she was cold and was rubbing her legs and back to warm her up. Then all of a sudden, the tall tale sign of her little back arching instantly told me she was not cold. She threw up all over our repeatedly. Poor thing was miserable all Easter. The one "nice" thing about this was I went to church myself and was able to enjoy the beautiful musical Sacrament meeting we had since Chris stayed home with the kids! I feel your pain! I hope this storm has passed in your home.

That is exactly how our family-flu-epidemic started. Lauren got it first (and worst), she was also throwing up every 15-20 minutes. No fun! Hope everyone is feeling better now.
