At least I wish it wasn't.
This morning when we are rushing to get ready for church several disasters. Alan is always at meetings Sunday mornings.
Sydney goes to the bathroom and then proceeds to step in her poop (don't ask me how this occurred). She then walks down the hall and leaves poop chunks all over my clean carpet! Total nightmare to clean up!
Then after I get that cleaned up, all 3 girls ready (hair, clothing) for church. Hailey runs to the bathroom and decides she would rather use the other bathroom. Totally bad choice. She peed he pants, her tights, her shoes right before church.
Lovely way to start a church day. Did I mention I also taught Lindsey's roudy class at church and did the long meeting alone because Jacob is home sick with a cold with Alan.
Lindsey told me "Mom after lunch maybe you should just take a break".

AMEN Lindsey! Sounds like one of my sunday mornings. How come they always wait til right before you have to leave to do that stuff?
P.S. Kudos to you for sticking it out through the whole block! I usually crap out and end up going home after primary...heathen, I know!!
Good gravy! I'm with Lindsey take a break mom. After all of that, you sure deserve one!
I agree with Lindsey. I hope you had a little time to yourself after church.
I hate morning like that. I hope tomorrow morning is better.
Yes, take Lindsey's advice. Take a break! What a morning!
Take a break or a long nap!! It was probably that stupid time change - messes with my family everytime! Sorry you had a bad start to your morning - I hope the day got better.
Thanks so much for coming by today and leaving the kind thoughts and prayers for our sweet little baby! I'll see you soon. Kellan
I totally empathize with you! Too bad there is not a way to opt out of some of those Mommy requirements. The whole potty trainning phase is just not fun.
♥ No kidding you should have a break! We had the same thing except with nail polish! I'm walking out the door and Eliza is missing! I found her in her room with nail polish and it was all over her dress, hands and just EVERYWHERE!!! This was a year or so ago... Luckily not today! I don't think I could have handled one more bad thing today!
I hope that tomorrow is a breeze for you!
Sara? Who are you? Just curious? I know several Sara's in Cali.
Oh boy I hope you took your much needed break!
Oh shoot! that is no fun! hope you got a nice long nap and a break too.OY. poop chunks , i can imagine.
Oh Laura. I hope you got a break after church. You certainly deserved it. My fingers are already crossed that I never have such a morning......well, I guess the peed tights won't be an issue, but the other stuff is the stuff my NIGHTMARES are made of. Seriously! :)
I'm with Lindsey -- you totally deserve a break!
Sunday mornings are stressful around here. Getting a gaggle of kids fed, dressed and looking presentable for more than two minutes is nearly impossible.
But God is smiling on you for honoring Him on the Sabbath -- even thought it's one of the hardest things to do!
Oh Laura, what a wonder-mom you are. I totally agree with Lindsey and I hope you DID take a break! Poop all down the clean carpet, its all too much sometimes!
Oh, yeah, you deserve a break. I hope you got a sunday nap after a morning like that!

Well my hats off to you for making it to church after all of that. I think I would have said forget it and let the devil win that one. This is precisely why we don't do Sunday morning church. I don't know why but we do much better on Sat. evening than a morning service. Hope you got your much deserved break!
Oh man! What a moring! One where you wish you could just crawl back in bed and not get out!
