My greatest joy is also my greatest challenge.*photos from our vacation in California in October (missing that weather now).
When I turned off a show playing in my room (the girls were in their room next door in bed) I heard Sydney say, "We better cry now Hailey".
The girls have become painfully early risers. First it was 5:50am, then 5:30am, and last night it was 3am! This will have to be stopped, I just have not figured out how. When I discovered Hailey (at 3am) she had turned her light on and was in the middle of the room playing. Seriously...
They can get into things in two minutes flat- don't turn your head for a minute. Teamwork is really a very amazing thing!
We really need to learn the art of combining your bathroom trips. Four trips to the bathroom (all successful) in an hour is excessive.
They charm everyone who meets them with their winning smiles and impish little personalities. They can frustrate me more than any two people and I love them with my entire being and don't know what I would do without them.

I don't even have a many kids as you do and I understand what your saying, I can't imagine how you keep that many balls in the air.
(((Hugs))) it sounds as though you might need one today! :)
Can I get an Amen, sister! I feel you completely! And I don't even have 2 at the same time. Heck, you double me completely! Wish I had some awesome words of advice. We gotta just keep DOING.
We have that happen every now and then. I just go in and lay mine back in bed and cover them up and do the bed time routine again. Most often than not they go back to sleep. I figure if it's before 6 am they can lay back down and go to sleep... :) Good luck and I totally understand the getting into stuff in 2 seconds flat!!! Mine are infamous for doing this way to often!!!
It amazes me how kids figure out how to manipulate so quickly....the comment "we better cry now" just kills me! Getting up at 3:00 a.m. needs to be nixed a.s.a.p...poor mama.
p.s. Will you email me your mailing address?
I can totally relate (and did in a post a few posts back! :) But it is a very TIRED love, isn't it?
How can those sweet, angelic, beautiful little girls be such a handful??! Those pictures are so great! I would NOT deal with 3am very well at all!
I understand completly. There are days when I can laugh at my kids and there are days when I have to go to my room for a time out. And we love them just the same. Emily would wake up and play in her room in the middle of the night when she was that age. It eventually stopped but it was exhausting.
My kindergartener has always been a wild sleeper. I wish I had some great advice but frankly I'm still looking for it myself.
One thing I do know is that when they DO sleep, they're beautiful. Your girls are gorgeous awake too!
3 am? Good heavens! I deal fine with 5 am (I go to bed at 9pm though). But 3 am? If it were my twins, I'd double gate their door (one gate on top of the other) and just let them stay up. Then they'd nap well in the morning while I had some time to get the house clean! Your girls would probably figure out how to get out of that though! You must be SOOO exhausted.
"we better cry now?" I'm dying. Dying. Here's your second, Amen, sister. I hear you in Sony sound.
