This week we woke up to rain. A lot of rain.
The next day we had more rain with the additional need of sweatshirts or even coats.
My parents basement had a little flood.
We saw a lot of lightening.
A "digger truck" fell in a crater on the hill because of rain.
Yep its been raining. It's been cold. It's been miserable. Welcome to our first week of summer vacation.
Hopefully we see some summer here soon. This feels like March!

It hasn't been rainy here just cloudy and misty. I am not going to complain though because the heat will be here befor you know it and my electric bill is thanking me too.
We are having a Cool summer as well. We still have rain and lightening oh and lets not forget the thunderstorms... I'm ready for the kids too play outside all day. They keep asking to get out our water park but it's still too dang cold. And I agree with Letti, I love my low electric bill!

Sorry about the "summer" weather...it's unseasonably "cool" here too...in the 90s ;-)
We've had cooler weather here too but I'm not complaining...I'm not a huge fan of the 100 degree heat. Kinda crazy that you are getting that much rain right now though! Hope you see some sunshine soon:)
LOL- yup that pretty much sums it up.
It would appear that rain (and cold) covered a good chunk of the western part of the country this past week. Thankfully by Friday we had sun and warmth.

I am enjoying the cooler temperatures, but I could do without the rain.
I hope your parents house didn't have too much damage. I know three of my neighbors had their garage flood.
We had the same weather this week but it is Sunday now and summer has finally arrived. I am hoping it made an appearance for you too today:)
