For weeks I have been promising my little girls that we would take a trip to the zoo. With school out for the summer (for preschool) it was the perfect time. We met my sister in law, Lisa, and my childhood friend, Allison. Allison and I have were best friends all our childhood and have remained friends even as adults. Amazingly we have never got our little girls together. Between us we had 5 girls. The girls had a great time together and we tried to get in some chat time. We will have to do it again soon.
Note to self. Red slurpies are never a good idea (ever). Notice the stain on Sydney's shirt and the horrible red smiles. They are even worse when no straws or lids are allowed in the park. Allison gets points for opting out on that one and I owe Lisa and apology for getting Cali one.4 days and counting till the big kids are out for summer. Uh oh. I am trying to cram in all my errands and activities this week because 2 kids is better than four when it comes to hauling kids on errands. I think we will be doing only kid friendly stuff all summer. I hope I survive.

My kids still have 7 days, summers are easier now that M & S are old enough to leave at home. Child free errands are better than anything. The zoo looks like fun. Too hot already to go to ours.
It was such a fun thing to go to the zoo with all the girls. Thanks for inviting us:)
♥ Cute pictures! They look like they're having a blast! :)
We had a great time too! Audrey was so excited to meet all "the girls." We'll have to plan another outing soon!
Looks like a nice day for the zoo. It's too bad about the girls shirts. I hate red dye. That is the worst. I wouldn't have noticed it in the pictures though.
FUN!!! Good idea to get zoo days in b4 the heat comes!
What a fun day! A good weather lately too.
I used to figuratively "roll my eyes" when kids mentioned their mom would get mad about a stain on their clothes...I thought it was a little over the top...till last month I cought myself telling Lauren she couldn't choose painting at school anymore. (HOW AWFUL AM I!?!) I just got tired of her shirts getting ruined from the splatters! So, I felt your pain of the red slurpie stains.
What a great day! I too have a childhood friend whom we remain friends in adulthood too. We also have 5 kids between us. Ironically, she has girl twins and I have the boys. Amazing! We also rarely have time to get the kids together. this most sure makes me miss her!
Zoo days are so fun. Minus the smell... ;) And if you ever discover a stain remover that actually works, let me know! Hope you were able to save the shirt. :)
fun Zoo trip! bummer about the slushies.
We are such fans of the zoo and its even better with friends! Too fun!
