Yellowstone day 2 and other random stuff...

Bear

You can see the bear in the bottom left corner...

The kids in front on the Teton mountain range. We drove home the long way to see more sights.

It took quite a bit longer because when we were nearly home we got stuck in a monster traffic jam The freeway was completely stopped and it turned out the canyon was closed from many hours. We turned around and had to take a dirt road over the canyon. It was quite an adventure for sure!

This dirt road was packed and it was pretty crazy!

It's been a tough week. My dear Grandma passed away yesterday. I am very sad and will miss her deeply. Today is Alan's birthday as well. I want him to know how much I love and appreciate him. He watched the kids several times over the last month and let me spend time with my Grandma. I will post more about her later. I am trying to compose myself and its all to fresh right now. Hope you all have a great weekend.

uhhhh not so sure what the comment above means????

Laura, First of all, I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of your grandma. I can't imaging the grief you must be carrying on your shoulders right now and if we were closer I would so be bringing you a cup of tea right now. I'm praying for your family during this difficult time.

The pictures from your trip are absolutely breath-taking. I would LOVE to witness those sights. What amazing creation! =)

Your momo momo quad buddy,
Jen

PS Let me know if you'd like me to work on a post for your momo-momo blog. It looks awesome, by the way.

What a fun trip that was. I am glad we got to go together. The kids will have great memories of this trip. The pictures turned out fabulous! I again am so sorry your grandma passed away. I am so
sorry you had to witness her suffering. I am glad you were so close with her though and she got to spend some time with your kids. What a blessing to have your grandparents around when the twins were born. It was very special to have met your grandparents on the twins blessing day. I will be praying for your family and especially your mom. I can't imagine what that is going to feel like. I love you and will do anything you need to help you through it.

Those pictures make nme want to pack our bags and head to yellowstone. Too bad Ryan is not into that stuff.

I am sorry about your Grandma. Please let me know if you need anything from me. Even if it is just alone time.

I understand what you are saying about composing yourself before you can write about it. One of my best friends passed away two years ago and her sister posted about it yesterday on her blog. It was still hard for me to leave a comment without feeling teary.

I hope all goes well next week. You are in my prayers.

I'm so sorry about your Grandma. I hope you find peace about her passing soon.

Love the vacation pictures! Jon REALLY can't see the ones with the bear. If he did he'd jump in the car now with or without me just for that!!

Hi, I just followed the link from Angie's page...I'm so sorry about your Grandma. Mine passed recently too and there's just nothing that quite prepares you to accept life without your loved ones. So sorry.

Sorry about your grandma. Between my husband and I we've lost 3 grands in the past year...

But I love the yellowstone pics. Esp. the one where the kids are facing the tetons (I think). We make it up there about every other year, and love it each time.

Wanna know a secret? We saw more wildlife in 20 minutes on Antelope Island last fall than a whole days' worth in YS? Great for an afternoon/day trip.
