Comments:You ask... I'll answer...

I'm crazy grumpy today. I think its because everything and I do mean everything is a mess and I am just plain overwhelmed. Still dealing with my cold.

I love comments.
A BIG shout out to all of you and especially Erin who made me feel so good with her comments. Thank you.

So I thought I would update and answer a few questions from my hair do post.

First the sunflower dresses and jean coats are all from Baby Gap. Unfortunately that place sells out of all their cute stuff right away so the dresses will be hard to find. I think the coats will still be hanging around. If you have younger girls than me I will be reselling them next year. You know how that goes...

How do I get my girls to sit still to get their hair done? My girls are trained to get their hair done. They just know it has to be done. We do it everyday when they get dressed so it has become a habit. Just like other habits. I recommend lots of water in a good spray bottle and good elastics that do not slide out. Praise goes a long way. My girls think they look more beautiful with pretty hair so thats a motivator there too. They look crazy when I do not have their hair done.

As for getting them all ready for church and their hair done. I never thought about that as being unusual and as usual you all made me feel pretty cool with your praise. We have church at 11am so that helps a lot.

Today has been a soccer day. Alan did some jack hammering in the basement last night (for the plumbing). Can you imagine how loud that was? I am just trying to get my head above water. I keep saying to myself, "Just keep swimming just keep swimming". You get the idea.

I am sorry You are not feeling well still. You are a wonderful person and a wondeful mother. You guys have had so much going on and you are doing great. You are such a great support to your family and friends and I am always here for you. Keep up the good work. One day you'll say remember when... Love you. You are the sister I always wanted.

Emma has that same sweat suit the twins have and it's my favorite......I have to admit though that seeing it times 2 IS cuter! :) Great photo of Jacob, too. And, I wish you were feeling better. I'll talk to you tonight?

Cute pictures. I can get my girls to sit still to put their hair in pigtails, but that is about it. I guess it is not on my priority list for me to do those intricate hair designs. My priority right now is to keep the twins from biting each other. They drew blood TWICE today! UGH! Any suggestions?

I felt slightly convicted about the hair. Jillian - who is dramatic & emotional anyway - always screamed & cried bloody murder if I washed or did her hair - hence the short hair. She is probably still alive b/c we cut it. I do try to do Abi's hair - she LOVES it - but after seeing some of your pics - I could probably do that a bit better - their hair is so cute!!!!
Plus I hear you about the overwhelming days - wow - do I hear ya!!!

I've always had short hair, and when Alexa's was long....well, she is just tooooo stubborn, even as a baby she would pull everything out, and she is still the same. And then we had a run of lice and voila! short hair. I'm just lucky to get the kids fed these days...but when the twins have hair? I may be searching your blog....

You make doing hair sound so easy! How about flying to Oh and doing Gabrielle's hair for the day! :) She is almost three and loves to get in the shower with me. It is a bit cold here still so that means her hair must be blown dry. then her drama happens. Crying, yelling, kicking. We use conditioner and no more tangles. She still acts like I am hurting her. Trying to get a ponytail or anything in her hair is a nightmare. so I must admit that my daughter looks crazy most of the time with her hair-dos. (spelling?)
Anyways I would love to have you come try out some cool hair styles on her. I mean if your ever bored with 4 kids and need something to do that is.
:)

Your kids are darling! Hair doing is a must do to around here. Plus same as your girls Niky just feels really cute to have her hair done.

Your girls always look so cute in their pics and I always love how neat their hair is. I'll have to remember instilling hair-doing as a norm when my girls have ENOUGH hair to DO!

I've been out of the blogosphere for a bit, so I'm trying to catch up on posts, but if you are still looking for Momo stories, I'd be more than happy to share! I'll get to sending you something soon!

Hope you are feeling well!

Laura,
Same with Jenna - she knows her hair has to be done and she can't move until I say she is adorable. Haha I love it!

I'm lucky If I can get the boys hair brushed before they walk out the door for school in the morning. I so would love a girl-But then again I don't even know If I would know how to take care of one! *wink
How do you do all you do everyday? (amazing)

I commend you for being able to train yourself to train your girls! I so suck at that. I figure when they finally realize that they look better IF we comb and do something with their hair.... that's when I have the patience to actually do the hair! You GO Girl! :)
Cute pix!
