He melts my heart...

Today was the twins first day in the big girl part of church (out of the baby nursery). It's called Primary (for those who don't know). The girls were very apprehensive to go and sit with their teacher and would not let go of me. Suddenly Jacob sitting several rows behind with his class came to the front put his arms around the girls and sat down in the middle of them. They settled down. I left the room and peeked through the door and saw him with his arms around the girls. It was so sweet to see him take care of them that way and to see how much they trust him. I am so blessed he came right before the girls. He loves and protects them all the time! They are so lucky to have him for their big brother.

Jacob is SO sweet. Just typed a long old response and it shot it somewhere else. I can't believe the girls are Sunbeams. I was moved to Senior Primary so I missed seeing Garrett in Junior primary and I was so sad about it!

That's so cute! My twins went into sumbeams for their first week today too! They didn't even care if I was there or not. Of course having Emma there helped too. They basically ran in and never looked back to even make sure I was there! :)

It's amazing how fast they grow up!

Loved your post! I had the same exact experience with my little Nathanael yesterday. Eyes all puffy and red, I could not leave him. His sister is far to old to sit with him. Happy to report by the middle of class he was ready for me to leave.

When were your twins 3? Mine turned 3 in July, so they too went on to Primary yesterday too. I was just called into Primary and got to see them sitting there all nice and proud to be with the big kids. Here they brought in all the 3 yr olds for the opening all of Dec and then when they seperated for class, they went back to Nursery. I think that it helped them to be ready.
What a great bi brother Jacob is!
