Saturday Soccerday

Today was Jacob's second soccer game. These sports can sure keep a family busy. He did great! I however, fell and sprained my ankle walking in. I am embarrassed that I fell especially because it was likely my horrible shoes! Sometimes fashion is not that important. I have never sprained my ankle. Usually when I fall or get hurt I get up and walk it off and its fine. This time I could not get up for a long time and the pain was/ is horrible. I spent the day on the couch but now we have it braced I can limp around. I hope it heals quickly. I have to get back to the gym. Anyway, I don't recommend doing this. Sneakers all the way baby, well at least at parks.

Laura,
OH NO! I'm so sorry you sprained your ankle. I was just commenting on this to my friend. She always looks so put together and fashionable. If I wore cute outfits and shoes like she does I know I'd feel great, but I can guarantee I'd have a sprained ankle or a smashed or lost kid from me not being able to get them fast enough. Great photos, by the way!

Hey
I think we need to see a picture of the offending shoe! Hope you feel better soon. I hurt my ankle when I was pregnant with Isaiah and Gary put a huge ice pack on it- that hurt just as bad as the sprain!
Cute pictures of the soccer game!

Oh Laura!! I so feel for you!! the day we moved into our new home I sprained both ankles (do not ask.. I am just *the* biggest klutz in the world!) Anyways, it took 3 entire weeks for them to feel better before I could exercise again. take it easy or you will make the sprain worse.

I second what Angie said!! I could not live without my Keds. They are on from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. LOL

So sorry you hurt your ankle! I am with you - sneakers all the way! I always look at moms who wear super fashionable clothes and shoes and wish I could pull it off but I would be in a full body cast in about a week. I have just come accept that jeans and sneakers are going to be my uniform for a while. What's a mother to do??
