Just born... he had a permanent mohawk, it was so cute!
What a day to celebrate! My little boy is turning five today. As I look over his life and all the joy he has brought to our family I feel so overwhelmed with love and gratitude for this sweet little boy, our Jacob. Jacob is an unusually kind child, sweet natured, and a lot of fun! Did I ever mention how handsome I think he is too?
Jacob was born at 8:30pm on April 11th after a very long labor that ended in a emergency c-section. He was worth it all! 
I thought I loved him on that first day I held him, but now I know him and know who he is, I love him so much more. I had no idea what a blessing and a gift this boy was bringing to our family! Happy Birthday my darling wonderful child! This year will be a great one filled with soccer games, t-ball, swimming, and the beginning of a new venture in life Kindergarten. I can't help but feel a little sad as I watch you grow and become more independent, even still I am so proud of you each new accomplishment, each new adventure we share! I love you!

wow, happy 5th birthday jacob!!! what a handsome boy you were and still are!!! i hope you had a great b-day! my son jordan will be turning 5 on sunday. :) i bet you would have alot of fun together.
laura, to answer your question on my blog, yes i do have cousins young enough to be in school and the three pictured are MY cousins. my youngest cousin is 3!!! :) i even have a uncle that is 6 mo. tounger than me (my mom and grandmother were pregnant at the same time and my mom gave birth first....lol). anyway, isn't it funny that my jordan and your jacob were born 4 days apart!!! anyway, i hope you have a great week!!!

Your Easter pics are so cute! It must have been alot warmer there than it was here. We had snow flurries. Nobody wore their Easter dresses here because they are too summery and the girls would have froze to death!
How old were your kids when their teeth popped thru? My other kids got teeth early. So I just assumed the twins would too.
