I have been married ten years and in that ten years a lot about life has changed. It got me to thinking about my top 5 technological advances. No they don't change the world for better (atleast not always) but they make me happy. So here they are (in no particular order).
1- My cell phone (cannot live without it and I did not have one before I married)
2-Tivo (I have had this for 6 yrs)
3-The internet (it was out before but it really took off in the last 10 yrs).
4-My Ipod (this one I have only had 6 months)
5-Ebay (I have been a member since 1999)

You have a beautiful family. How old are your twins? I hopped over from another blog. I have 3 yr old twins and 4 older children. Iguess that the internet is the main thing I could not live with out. IT is a means for our large (I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters)family to keep informed on everybody's lives.
Internet and TiVo for sure, but also the automatic/remote controlled sliding doors and lift gate on my minivan. Fabulous invention!
I have a hard time believing I've lived through the evolution of music. Its gone from LPs and 8 tracks, to cassettes, to CDs and now you just download it. We just recently got a DVR and I LOVE it. I've got 2 hours of Wow Wow Wubbzy, 1 hour of Spongebob Squarepants, and an hour of Scooby Doo on it. Nothing else. Tells you something about my life, huh?
I'll think about my faves and post it on my blog....this'll be a challenge!
I'm technologically challenged.....but, what about a laptop or those thing a ma bobby's that is like a handheld computer? They've seem to have gone out of style with blackberries and other phones that do everything.
I'd have to say DSL and wireless connections for my laptop. I cannot imagine going back to dial up and wires!
I have said it before and I will say it again, I would stand before everyone and bear my testimony about how TIVO has changed my life.
I might have to check into TIVO!
For me the internet. I can't live w/out my computer. I have more online friends than I do real life friends!! O.K. that didn't come out right but you know what I mean!
