After ten years of marriage we finally took a weekend get away. We left last Saturday for the long weekend. It was amazing. Alan and I went to San Francisco. It was perfect because we both grew up there and spent a lot of time their while we were dating, we even got engaged next to the Golden Gate bridge. We relaxed, ate and just enjoyed being together. No stress, no worries, just plain wonderful! I highly recommend it!
The weather was perfect, we drove up the coast on Hwy 1, Union square, Fishermans wharf, half moon bay, they even had a 24 fitness a block away, and with all the good food I wanted to eat I had to hit that spot for sure!

Watch out if you go shopping and spend a long time in a store that has a helicopter kiosk outside...

I was wondering where you went....what fun. I'm glad the two of you were able to get away, and to such a great city with wonderful memories for both of you. I love the pictures of the two of you.....looking great, Laura!

What a wonderful vacation for you and Alan!! Happy 10th anniversary!! I am sure it was amazing to go back there and spend some time making new memories!!
Our 10th anniversary is in May of next year. I am starting NOW trying to plan it. I already have a couple at church (they do not have kids.. married less than a year) who are lined up to watch the kids for us for the long Memorial Day weekend. Do you think they will want kids after watching my crew of 5? ROFL!!
Hooray for you! So glad that you took a trip away...just the 2 of you and you deserve it after 10 years and 4 kids! I bet it was beautiful in the S.F. last weekend! I noticed Alan's Raider's logo on his shirt...my hubby is also a fan.
