Wedding Day...

The Wedding went off without a hitch. All the late nights and preparation really paid off. My sister and my mom did all the flowers themselves. They were truly beautiful. I helped out too but more in the prep. My sister is a photographer (though she works somewhere else) and took all the engagement photos previously posted. The day was long and exhausting and my kids did o.k. Truly they were all mostly well behaved, except Sydney. She was a little turkey. We were there from 11-8pm so it was hard on all of them. I was able to walk down the aisle, even though I resprained my ankle (though not as bad). My cold had improved (except a cough) too.

Happy couple...

Attempt at a family picture... that would not happen.
Princess Hailey, isn't she angelic and sweet (and she was).
Sweet Sydney (although this was not true of her behavior) she was a little stinker most of the day. She is mischievous, strong willed, and yet still beautiful.
Still Sydney. You can dress her up but you cannot make her behave...
Jacob and Hailey dancing...

Me and the little girls before the wedding.
My Dad, brothers and Alan...
Hailey snuggling with my Grandma, who is 92. My grandpa is not doing well and could not come.
Lindsey Darling and Jacob

Their departure by horse and carriage

So glad its over... we are still recovering.

What great pictures, Laura. Love your dresses, too. The one you are wearing is so classy. Someone did a great job of picking something age and life appropriate yet feminine and beautiful, too! That doesn't happen very often. And your children's clothes. To die for. Oh, and I'll just throw this out there......I wish you wouldn't resize your photos before you upload them because I can't double click on them and look at them in more detail! :) You looked beautiful, Laura!

Your sister and her husband look so happy. Love it.

Sorry about resizing. I do it because often it takes so long to upload the full size it just crashes (a lot). How do you get past that. I load so many many pics it would drive me nuts! This size pops on in seconds.

My sister and I picked our outfits out and I picked the children's. It was a bride maids outfit I didn't hate. Alan saw it and said, " Wow that is like a real outfit you might actually like". LOL! Thanks for the compliments. I wish we could have got a good family portrait. I think I may take the kids to the studio.

I think you should totally get family portraits done all dressed up! The pictures are adorable. It looks like a super fancy affair! Beats our potluck reception in my parent's backyard!

I will have to build up the energy to get portraits done. Last time it was so hard they had to digitally swap heads to get everyone looking at the camera!

We did a lot of the wedding stuff ourselves... invitations, flowers, center pieces, photography (except on the event), slide show, etc... I will share those little details for all your crafty folks next post :) It was a nice place and fancy event. My children were the only children there (fun huh?).

Such a beautiful family! You all looked wonderful and your sister and new hubby looked blissful! Weddings are a lot of work but worth it all in the end!

What wonderful pictures! I love your outfit. When I wasx married we had a hard time finding bridesmaids dresses that had sleeves and was modest. (My bridesmaids were LDS and had been through the Temple.) I bet it was easier for you in Salt Lake!! I may have to take a trip out there for my girls when they go to the prom! There are none to be found here with sleeves where I live!
