Before I had children I did plenty of babysitting, I even was a nanny. So naturally I thought I knew what I was in for. Someone did not tell me how much throw up I would be cleaning up in my life as a mother. Seriously is there anything worse than being woke up out of a dead sleep to discover a crib and toddler covered in throw up (maybe doing it four times in one night?)! EWWW! We were up all night, I washed bedding four times, bathed four times, and slept less than a few hours. Sydney was the sick one but Hailey woke up each time and eventually would not go to sleep at all. So Sydney (sicky) sleeps in her crib in between episodes while Hailey (turkey) kicks me all night because she refuses to go to her bed. Sydney is much better today. Hailey is super cranky (hmm). We had plans to go to the Children's Discovery museum so I had two very sad kids to break the news to this morning. I heard them jump our of bed at 7am and begin getting ready... I hated breaking their hearts. We are going to try and repeat on Friday and hope we make it there this time. I hate throw up and the twins seem to have quite a propensity to it! So much so that when they throw up we don't know if its because they are sick or if they coughed or gagged. Obviously last night was clear (so violent) but earlier that day Hailey threw up and we changed her and moved on ... maybe she was sick? Some things times two are not so fun...

OH how I hate the PUKE.....I relate.
EKKKK!
So sorry, Laura.
Poor Poor Poor you! I had that happen to us last Wed. night! 2am Isaiah was screaming and it was everywhere in his crib. When I went to bath him it started all over again...
I'll pray your night will be better and that the others won't get it!
I hate puke too. It smells awful and the chunks always gross me out. Ewww....
sorry to hear the girls were sick. i got lucky in that none of my kids ever really puke. latoya has puked maybe 3 times out of her 8 years, and the rest are less than that. i hope things are better now and the girls are well!
I hate puke sooo much!!! It seems your girls seem to do it everytime they get sick!! I hope they feel better fast and you can go tomorrow!
The barf is never fun. One of my girls barfed all over me last night. Gross! Hope you are all back to normal tonight.
Thanks for all the comments and well wishes. Jacob threw up in Alan's car last night... so just like any illness it has to make the rounds with all four kids! 3 down... hopefully Lindsey will escape. We will see if we make to the Childrens Discovery tommorow?
