I read this on someone elses blog and I totally agree. I am always reading people's status on facebook that say tgif. Us mom's don't care about weekends. There is not break from that job. It's more like TGIB - thank goodness its bedtime.
There you have it I have survived another busy and packed weekend and thank goodness its bedtime.

i live with dread in my heart for weekends. and summer vacation too for that matter.
what about TGIM? -thank goodness it's monday and they are going to school!
So true! I have actually come to enjoy summer vacation, now that my kids are a bit older and we can have more fun together. More of them are less dependent on me so that makes it better. I can go shopping all by myself when they are home because I have 2 old enough to be home with the others. But oh how I love bedtime!

That is so right...I love the TGIB! Have to admit...its the only quiet time around here!
LOL, classic! I love TGIB! The only reason I say TGIF anymore is if the hubs has been in NY all week and is on a plane home to me. But that doesn't mean that anything relaxing will be going on in the near future... I also like TGIM, I get more done on Mondays when all the dervishes go to school than any other day!
Girl u r speaking truth!!!!!! I LOVE bedtime. I even have a rule that I will not do any housework after 8:30pm. That is MY time!
I read this post just after I sent my older two to bed screaming and crying at me. It made me smile a little knowing that I am not the only one that NEEDS this time of day!

I don't even have any kids but have to admit I'm all about TGIB. I always go to bed way too late but love hitting the sheets after a busy day. ;-)
I agree!! I love when 7:30pm rolls around because it means its time to start brushing teeth and washing faces. Bedtime is the BEST time!
