Before leaving on our cruise I admit to having some concerns about the days at sea. I was most looking forward to our shore excursions and seeing the sights. Being stuck in the middle of ocean seemed well boring. Boy was I wrong. It was pure bliss. I never expected to love that part so much. I was actually a bit sad when we hit a port. I was then required to get up and do something. Next cruise, we all agree more days at sea. LOL.
Top five things about being at sea...
Free food all day.
Clean and comfy.
No need to pack or lug anything (mom's appreciate this).
No deadlines (that's bliss)
Here are a few shots from day 1 and 2....
Crafts at kids club. Oh and notice that Lindsey is missing in most photos. She never would leave the kids program. She was there as much as it was open.
The girls lived in the hot tub. As much as possible!
Ice cream. YUM! The gals gave the girls all the free toppings and extras they could allow.
More to come when we hit port. First stop Puerto Vallarta.

Which cruise line did you take? And what are your ports?
Spending time on the boat is what sounds the most appealing to me. I think it would be nice to take a trip where you got to truly relax. I'm glad you had such a nice time.
What great photos! I can't wait to see more.
Looks absolutely fabulous! We have never done a cruise for the same reason you were nervous before you went. THis makes me think a cruise might just be a good idea! Great photos Laura! Those kiddos are to die for.
Thank you for stopping by and saying hi even though I am a really stinky blog friend. I appreciate it so much! And I miss you too!
What an awesome gift...awesome Mom! Your pics are wonderful. I would love the 24 hr. food availability :) YUM! I've never been on a cruise...never been sure if I would like it, but have heard great things!

That looks fabulous!!! I am definitely going to be pushing for a cruise vacation :) I can see why your girls were the local celebrities. They are so cute in the shades.
You have such a beautiful family Laura!
I am so jealous!! That vacay looks heavenly! I would LOVE to go on a cruise...and you make it look great even with the kids! Can't wait to hear more!:)
wow - such great pics - and so impressed that your girls wore their sunglasses so much!!!
What an awesome family vacation! Chris and I did that cruise ( but on Royal Carribena) for our Honeymoon. Mazatlan really felt like I was in Mexico. The other ports were so tropical, it was just different. Got to love that 24 hr food. I think we both gained 5lbs on that trip alone. hah hah The kids club looks great! CAn't wait to read about the excursions. Cruises are just fun. Big hotels with amazing views. ;)
That looks like so much fun! Bacon and a donut?? Sounds like what Luke would choose, too. lol! How great that they had fun things for the kids to do.
Looks like a BLAST and those twins are too cute!

You know, I didn't think I ever wanted to go on a cruise because I get sea sick. But this looks fun. And did you say free food all day long? I could go for that!
