Gymnastics...

Remember Ballet? Well Ballet wasn't working. Not.at.all. The girls enjoyed it. The teacher was awesome. Yet every Wednesday was horror running the girls back and forth. So after a lot of thought and major guilt I pulled them out.

I have felt guilty ever since (mommy guilt is sure powerful). All along I had a plan, a better plan. Gymnastics was offered at the swim club Lindsey swims at, at the same time. Genius right? Last week the girls started their first class. They loved every somersault, hop or beam walk. Mommy guilt is officially washed away. My life is slightly more manageable.

So cute. We left ballet and started gymnastics class too. For different reasons but still they LOVE gymnastics. I think way more energy is asserted in that class anyways which provides for better naps :)

Your girls are as cute as can be and a more manageable schedule is a win win for you.

Hey! I recognize that place! :) Life is so much happier when the Mommy's not stressed, or guilty. I'm glad you did what was best for you, because in the end, that's what's best for all. Your girls look super cute in their leotards, as always.
For the record, if I pulled Savi out of ballet and tap she would KILL me. But, she's been doing it for 4 years...

FUN FUN FUN!! I love it! They look like they are having so much fun! And how great that its at the same time as Lindsey's swim lessons. I can't wait to sign my girls up for gymnastics.

They look adorable in their leotards. We always wanted take gymnastics. You should play Nadia Comaneci to for them and see if they're subconsciously inspired!

Squash the Mommy guilt. What a fantastic solution. I can't believe you managed to do all that running around for those past months. What cuties. They look like they are having a blast, and you sound more at ease. Score for the whole family!

Fabulous! That's quite the impressive, efficient Mommy happening there. Now my question is, how long will they stay enchanted with gymnastics? My 5 yr old loved ballet (unlike yours) but now all of the sudden she hates it and wants to do gymnastics. Seriously?! Girls are fickle.

Perfect! Can't beat the two activities in the same place at the same time...except it might be hard now to watch everyone!

Vivi just started her 3rd term of gymnastics(8wk sessions) and LOVES it! I did switch her session after the holidays, b/c like you, Wed. morning rush was just too much for ME! She goes in the evening now and is in awe of the older girls.

I love their leos. We need to find more!

how fun! grace is in ballet now but some girls in the ward do gymnastics and she told me she wants to switch... sounds like it was a win-win for you! that live nativity is every year in alpine, you should definitely go next year!
