Build a Bear....

A few years ago my sister gave my kids Build a bear gift cards for Christmas. To put it mildly it was a hit and each year she gives the kids this gift again. I give her a lot of credit for spending SO much money (my kids want so many accessories) and for winning for fun and creativity too. This year the little girls got cards too (in the past they got Gymboree) so I came along.

The funny thing about this picture is that a Grandma offered to take a picture of me in it too. I did not need that (as you might notice) but didn't want to be rude. We get all lined up for the pic and she says, "okay kids say whisky". So my kids confused said, "whisky". I was a little shocked. LOL!

Have a great weekend... My braces are on and I am in pain pain pain. I can't imagine why I did this. OUCH!

We have an Aunt that spoils us like that too!! Aren't they the best? There is nothing better than having a sister that loves your kids like they are her own. What a fun tradition!

Whisky??? How weird. My kids like to say Super Star for pics!

Sorry to hear the braces are hurting you...give 'em a couple weeks to adjust a little. You will be so gald you did it in the end. :)

Build A Bear looks so fun. What a great auntie gift for the kids!!

I feel your pain about the braces. Tylenol, teething gel, use it all! You will love that you had them on when they are off.

OK, we love build a bear. I think it might turn into a mom/kid birthday tradition.

And braces! Wow, good for you. Just remember the aches are totally temporary. It will get better. Hang in there!

I would have done the same thing... let the grandma take the picture and not want to be rude. Turns out though that it is a GREAT picture!!!

Loved catching up on your blog.. I am getting back to life now after the crazy busy holidays. Happy New Year to you all!

what a great gift!

the pain of the braces will be worth it-and the pain will subside soon-till the next time they tighten them :) Eat lots of soup and popsicles.

What a great gift. My girls started to show a little interest in build a bear this year. That would be a fun gift idea. Your kiddies are as cute as ever.

♥ Sounds like so much fun! I remember the first day I got my braces on and it hurt really bad too!!! It does get better though, well until they tighten them or give you rubberbands! :)

Cute pictures! I love your relationship with your sisters. It reminds me of mine!

Way to go getting braces. It will be so worth it in the end. My hubby is planning on getting them sometime this year on his bottom teeth.

Holly is such a wonderful aunt. You are lucky to have her as your big sis. Build a bear is such a great gift for the kids.

You will be happy one day you did the braces and the aches and pains are only temporary. They last a few days and will start to feel better until you get them adjusted again. It will be worth it I promise!
