Cleaning!
Yes my house is clean, several closets & rooms organized too! It's amazing. I cleaned with the cleaning girls (who are amazing) the 2 hrs they were here and every second after and for the first time I see real progress. I feel like I have acomplished something. The twinados are still undoing it as fast as possilble but I am way ahead of them for now.
Laundry count for the last three days... 14 loads.

The Flood...
Yesterday we had a busy day! The twinados struck again. I was downstairs and the twins were unattended for a moment. Lindsey came running down telling me the bathroom was flooded. I was expecting a small mess, but what I found was a real flood. Hailey was standing at the sink with Sydney right behind, she had clogged up the sink with toilet paper (which was also wet and flung all over the bathroom) and she was letting the water run. Run it did, it ran over the sink, down the cabinets, filled up the whole bathroom floors (2 inches of standing water) and into the hall carpets! Both girls were soaked and the water was still running! Providence would have it that we had a plumber at my house (working) so I ran to get help (Alan was not home). He brought in his industrial strength wet/dry vacuum and I began the clean up process. To make an impression both girls were dried and sent to their beds, both girls proceeded to climb out of those beds (4 times) during their punishment. I then said we were not going to the gym, which sent them into hysterics( they love the place so much). I don't think it made a huge impression though as later I found all of Rochelle's chocolates eaten (so it did not get mailed saturday) and other big messes! When Alan arrived home from his "guy" day I had quite a story to tell. It seems like the bathroom has dried out o.k and I will be locking it from now on.

The TWINADOS.....
Tell me how can faces so cute cause so much trouble? In one day Sydney and Hailey together unloaded the dishwasher by throwing the dishes in the sink, thus breaking three glasses and nicking Hailey's hand! Then Hailey managed to get her diaper off at nap time (even with duct tape) and get poop everywhere for the third time this week. She has also learned how to get out of her footed Jammie's and do this too! While I was cleaning up that mess they headed downstairs, they began snacking on baby carrots. They have not yet mastered the art of swallowing the carrots so they chewed them all up and spit them out all over the house... the couch, the carpet everywhere! Upon discovering this horrible new mess they moved onto the bathroom (someone left it open) and they proceeded to put everything they could get their hands on into the toilet. When I arrived on the scene (very shortly) they were scooping up the water and drinking it! I almost lost my mind! I then undressed them from their wet Jammie's and stuck them in their cribs called Alan and told him to hurry home. Maybe you are wondering what I was doing during all these events, well... cleaning up the messes. Most days aren't quite so eventful, but that day they were lucky they were so cute! By the way the look you see on Sydney's face is a classic Sydney smirk, she gets this glint in her eyes when she is going to make trouble, its truly her! Hailey really doesn't have quite as mischievous a nature, but she sure seems to get into the same trouble with Sydney. I just don't get that smirk from her while its happening.
