Birthday celebrations- Lindsey

When I had my first child no one told me a little hint. So I will share it with you now.  Establish limits on friend birthday parties. I have some friends who choose every other year and others who do it at certain big age levels. Me… I never set any limits so I have set a standard I am not fond of at birthday season (the time of the year when we have 3 birthdays close together).  This year Lindsey had four birthday celebrations, whew thankfully not all were hosted by me.  First we went out to dinner with one side of our family. This was an easy one and we just showed up. She loved it (opps no photo’s).

Then on her actual birthday I bought cupcakes from our fav gourmet cupcake shop and we had a little family celebration.

Next we hosted a friend party it was supposed to be really small but when we created the list I kept finding one kid or another left out. I can’t stand that.  We had a house full of squealing tweens and it was loud. We made homemade pizza’s and headed to the movies. It was a perfect party for Lindsey.

 

Last but not least she went to my parents house and was spoiled there too!
