Kill the bill…

Whether you wanted the health care bill you can probably agree that having your husband take your kids to the capitol all day on a Saturday would be a great thing. I also thought it was a great lesson in being active politics.

The protested “kill the bill”and later that week the bill got put through they were pretty mad!  I guess that is the lesson in being active in politics.  It makes you care more. That is always a good thing! Thanks Alan for teaching them that and for a relaxing Saturday!

Good for Alan. I love when people put their beliefs into action like that.

I have been silently reading your blog so now I seem like a stalker but I had to comment on this post because it is AWESOME!! I love that your kids were saying "Kill the Bill". I think if there is any good to come out of this Presidency so far it is that more people have tuned into politics and what is actually going on - including kids! So great!

I think it is great that Alan gets so involved in things he believes in. It is also great that he took the kids with him to give you a break. What a great husband.

Sweet idea! That is something they will remember and help instill in them a desire to participate in the political process through their lives. Good job, Alan!
