Just thought I would share some of the products I love...
I am sure I will think of more after I post this. Please share yours in my comments :)
If you have not used this stuff you are really missing out. You will never use saran wrap again. It can cover the half of the water melon or the top of a bowl. It's amazing stuff!
I can't promise it tastes as good as butter, but its 0 calories and I love it!
This is perfect for smoothing your hair (no more fly aways). Smells great too. I love it!
This stuff is a staple in my house for stain removal. Most of you already know how great it is.
This is my favorite carpet cleaner. You could only get it through Chem dry for a while, but its back at Home Depot.

I could not live without this one. It has saved SO many clothes!
I also love...
Crystal light packs that go in your water bottles.
Tivo
Spray sunscreen
Miracle grow
Mr clean magic eraser
Shout wipes (great for in the car or on the go)
Huggies bibsters
I could go on and on...
Anyway please pop in and share your finds.

Great post, Laura! :)
I also us Press and Seal, Oxyclean (LOVE the stain remover spray, too), and Mr. Clean eraser. I'd have to add my Oreck to the list, washed and cut lettuce, and Goldens Margarine for baking. My husband stands by Cherry Coke Zero for a diet drink, and I love twizzlers, especially as a straw so much that I can't even eat one piece. I LOVE Gymboree clothes for girls and gravitate towards Old Navy for my boys. Let me think some more....
I love reading your finds too. I did not add Gymboree clothing because it was just too OBVIOUS. My girls only own Gymboree with few exceptions. I prefer Gap and Polo for Jacob. I also love Diet coke. You know how much I love my Oreck vacuum too. Sometimes you DO get what you pay for. I will have to try the oxy clean spray the powder can be messy. Twizzler straws sound fun! Thanks for sharing and when you think of more please do share!
Hey Laura... thanks for your comment on my blog about the apron I made for Kristy... You know what, I just can't bring myself to sew those up to sell mainly because I don't think I could keep up with the orders so I pretty much just enjoy making them and giving them away to special people in my life. But, here is the name of the pattern: Bon Appetit Apron sold through Indygo Junction, Inc. On the back of the pattern is this contact information: wwwindygojunctioninc.com and www.thevintageworkshop.com If you live near me (by the Yorks), I bought the pattern at Elaine's Quilt Block on 3000 East and about 6900 South. Good luck; hope that info helps.
what a great post, so many things that i use as well. funny story about the oxyclean (i meant to put it in my blog). i bought some in n.c. while we were on vacation, and my sister doesn't use it, so i threw it in our suitcase to bring home with us. when we got to portland and went to pick up our bags, we noticed a big pile of "white powder". of course the first thing that pops into your mind is anthrax, anyway, i knew almost immediately what it was. i opened our suitcase and sure enough, the container was empty! i got a security guard to show him the container and the pile and we were on our way (didn't want to hear about an anthrax scare after we left). anyway, life in interesting. love the posts, i missed alot i guess. my kids just started really loving the pool when we were in n.c. i wish i knew of swim lessons around here that didn't cost an arm and a leg. anyway, i hope you have a great week!
Great post! I will have to try some of those things you listed.
Some things I cannot live without are:
* Shout Color Catcher - you will never have to sort clothes again! * Spray Sunscreen for the kids - LOVE this stuff!!
* Graco Tot Block Pack N Play - Square instead of rectangle to hold both babies at once so I can clean the floors and fill the dishwasher without the babies following me around. * Vinegar- My favorite floor cleaner when the babies are crawling so they will not get the chemicals from regular cleaner on their hands because of residue left behind. * Mylicon Drops- 5 kids with colic, enough said! * Wish Bone Salad Spritzers - love this on my salad and one calorie per spray! I also tend to go with Old Navy clothes for my boys and Gymboree for my girls. I buy a year head since we buy when the clothes have end of season sales. We just hit the sales at Gymboree and have most of their clothes for next winter and some summer. I also discovered Kohls here in IA and love it for clothes for the kids.
Yes I mentioned Spray sunscreen! What a life saveer! I have tried the color catcher but I don't have the guts to not presort with it.
Best invention of the current century? Super Target. It's the happiest place on Earth ... next to Disney World, of course.
I couldn't live without my Diaper Champ (not a Diaper Genie), the automatic sliding doors and lift-gate on my minivan, the DVD player in my minivan. I also love the Clorox Bleach Pen, pacifiers that serve as medicine dosers, OxyClean, the little packets of diswashing detergent you just pop into your dishwasher, Cheerios (best snack ever for fussy babies), TiVo, the internet, sushi, red wine, my dog because she eats everything off the floor so I don't have to sweep as often. It's the simple things in life...
Great post -- this was fun!
Erin,
I loved almost everything you mentioned! I used to go to Super Target a lot but with my four I just can't do it anymore.
I have to say what tops my list is TIVO. How people live without it I will never know! It's the best thing I ever got.
I would love auto doors on my van. I do have a dvd player but we only use it for longer drives.
I love the diaper champ. The medicine dispensers were a life saver for me too! I will have to do one on just baby products. I have a lot of those I love.
Anyway, you had a lot of good ones.
I also love my automatic sliding doors and DVD player. I especially love that I can listen to music while my kids are watching a movie with their headphones. I still don't have Tivo. Obviously I don't know what I'm missing.
I LOVE Super Target!!! The one near my house has groceries and all. I never go anywhere else anymore. I was just there today. We had Joseph's portraits done, picked up prescriptions, went grocery shopping and bought some clothes! Love it!
I do not have TIVO either. There are not that many shows I watch anyways. But I DO soooo miss my minivan!!! I miss the DVD player and sliding doors. :-( Once these kids are out of their car seats (in about 7 yrs!) I want the newest FOrd minivan out there!
This is a great topic! I love my minivan, too! Except I don't have a DVD player in mine. I sure wish i did though! I don't have Tivo, but wish i had that too. I love to watch Frontline on PBS but it comes on right when i'm trying to get everyone in bed.So Tivo would be awesome.
Arizona
What a fun post Laura. I haven't tried the Press N Seal saran wrap, so that will be on my list for my next grocery trip.
Can't live without my TIVO, IPod, Wiggles/Baby Signs/Baby Einstein DVD's....keeps the girls occupied when I clean up their MESS in the kitchen. Can't live without my small broom and dustpan for that very reason.
Please tell me more about the Oreck vacuum cleaner. Both you and Angie commented on it. Is it a regular size vacuum or handheld?
I did forgot one thing.. I cannot believe I forgot this... Mr. Clean Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner. I use it on everything, including mirrors and the tub, the kitchen counters, even my sliding glass doors!
I love my oreck. It is light weight and sucks better than any vacuum I have tried. I won't say its not pricey but you get what you pay for and they last. My last one was 17 yrs old! I just got a new one. I highly recommend them. It is an upright vacuum but they make both.
