When spring arrived craziness came with it and not just the weather, though that has been plenty crazy too. I signed the kids up for the typical spring sports. Somehow it ended up being crazy.
Here is the schedule.
Monday- Run Lindsey to swimming at 4pm. Take Jacob to Cub Scouts at 4:30. Pick up Lindsey at 5pm. Pick up Jacob at Cubs scouts at 5:30pm. Soccer game for the twins at 5:30 or 6:30.
Tuesday- Soccer practice for Jacob 6:30 to 7:45pm.
Wednesday- Lindsey swim team 4pm, Jacob diving at 4:30pm (same place). Soccer practice for the twins at 5:30pm. Pick up swim/diving at 6pm.
Thursday- Soccer Practice Jacob 6:30-7:45pm
Friday- Activity days (church program) for Lindsey 2nd and 4th Friday, Diving for Jacob 4:30pm. Up with Kids (Lindsey’s drama class) 5pm.
Saturday- Soccer game for Jacob.
Needless to say I can’t wait for things to slow down. Thankfully Alan can often pick up here and there when he gets of work. It kills me when he can’t. I promised I wouldn’t over schedule my kids but with four kids the person overscheduled is me!
This is the first time the twins have played soccer and it has been pretty funny. The first game Hailey fell and made a goal in the process and thought she was amazing. Since then they seem a little scared of the ball. They have the cutest team and all of the little girls will be going to kindergarten with them.
Lindsey performed her play last weekend. She did a great job and enjoyed every minute. Her play happened to fall on Jacob’s baptism day. So it was one crazy afternoon!
I love the Lindsey is so outgoing and fun!
Jacob has played about 110 seasons of soccer so I haven’t taken that many photo’s yet this season. His team (which has been the same for 109 of the seasons) has really done well. So far they have only lost one game. Jacob has gotten a lot more aggressive . Last week he stopped a goal with his face (pictured below). Smack! It was a really painful save!
In second grade all they do it play soccer at recess. So it’s big time fun!
Just three more weeks till we wrap spring soccer up!

I know how you feel. I love it when my kids play sports, but it makes life really crazy for me, so I am always happy to see the season end. Now we have to figure out the summer schedules.
With 3-4 kids, it doesn't take much to have Momma hopping! It's crazy, but so good for them!!
You are an amazing mom! You know I am taking notes about how to handle all this when my kiddos get a little older. :)
Your schedule makes me tired! But I know your kids love you for all your hard work.
Busy Busy Busy! I can relate to trying to be in 2 places at once. Summer will be a nice break. Well sort of.Lol
