Day 1 and 2. Getting ready to go on a trip like this takes a lot of work. With my mother in law ill and Grandpa unable to watch the kids it took a lot of planning to make the trip happen. At times, I’ll admit it didn’t seem worth all the effort but the minute I was alone at the airport I already knew it was.
Flying alone seems easy. Luggage for one person is so much more manageable. Here we are getting ready to leave. The weather was beautiful!
Here we are all dorky for the drill before we left…
After we were off to sea we got dressed for dinner. The sunset that night was amazing.
The next morning we woke up and scouted out our perfect spot. It was at the back of the ship and was designated “adults' only”. The weather was amazing. We brought plenty of magazines and books so we were all set for a day of sunshine and relaxation.
This pool was freezing cold so I left the fun to them…
One of the things I love about cruises is “sea days'”. I love the relaxed schedule. The good food. It’s just perfect!
It was formal night at dinner so we got all dressed up to enjoy the food and fun.
My Dad came along to keep my Mom company because my mother in law could not join us.
Next post we arrived in Cabo, Mexico!

Glad you got a little vacation from "life" and looks like it was a great one!
I'm here!! things have been hectic....sick kids and all. I would love to be on a cruise right now....so glad you enjoyed yourself! Hope that your mother-in-law is doing okay.
Looks so relaxing especially the "adults only area" ... maybe I should have one of those near by haha.
Awesome. You guys look so happy and SO relaxed. I could so use an 'adults only' area right now :)
That looks so fun and relaxing. It is too bad your MIL couldn't go, but that is great that your dad joined in on the fun.
What a fun Trip. Thanks for being a great traveling buddy and cabin roomie!
